Roderick S. Chappell is a proud native of Tyler, Texas. He joined the Navy and found his home in Virginia after being honorably discharged in 2002. He is married to the love of his life, Jennifer. Together, they run a small zoo that features a goat [Lucky], 2 sheep [Larry/Lambert], 24 chickens, 2 cats[Gizmo/Houdini - affectionately referred to as boy and girl cat respectively]. He is usually found petting and being chased by the 5 dogs -Tink, Jackson, the Twin Towers [Atlas and Bella] and his favorite partner in crime - Alexa. When Roderick isn't hanging out with the animals covered in feathers or fur, he spends his time sitting on the dock of the pond watching the frogs, turtles, and fish go by that have joined the flock of ducks that live on the property.
Roderick is the Lead Technician Community Alternatives, where he assists in maintaining more than one hundred properties throughout the Hampton Roads area that house the less fortunate. He is a certified electrician, plumber, life coach and has an additional certification in customer service. Roderick has written several books, including the Best Seller Yes, I Can't and A Beginners Guide to Crypto Currency.
Roderick started playing in 2021. He quickly fell in love with the game. He believes golf is like life. You will take some good shots you will take some bad ones; your attitude will determine how you finish. Sometimes you win, but make sure you learn. He has been called a golf purist meaning he usually plays it where it lies. Just like in life - you take it as it comes and deal with it.
Roderick's main goal is to live life to its fullest every day because tomorrow is not promised. He personally learned this lesson in 2012 when he was working on his mother-in-law's car, and it fell on him almost taking his life. Since then, he tries to live each day like it is his last day.
The thing he wants to leave us with is, "He'll beat you there on Saturday". You take that any way you want. Cheers!

It has always been said that the cream always rises to the top! Well in the month of November, the cream has truly finished the year overflowing. This young man has lit up the tour this year with his stellar play and consistency. Mr. Kevin John played his way right into the E-D Tour record books as Player of the Month and Player of the Year! Kevin won back to back weeks 27 and 28 and then stamped his name as player of the month with his 3rd place finish on week 30. On behalf of the E-D Tour Board of Directors and its Members we would like to congratulate Mr. Kevin John for his outstanding play during the month of November. Congratulations sir for your outstanding play!
